In a nutshell

In 2013 I received my Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Milan, Bicocca. In July 2013 I moved to Sydney, Australia where I had the opportunity to work in several exciting companies such as Datalicious, Data2Decisions, Wetpac Group and lately Cadreon across a variety of clients and industries.

In December 2017, after 5 amazing years in Sydney, I figured it was time to move back to Europe and to break up the long return trip, I made a three months long detour in Southeast Asia, backpacking through amazing places across Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore and Indonesia.

In April 2018 I settled back in Milan and in May I started a new exciting job as Data Scientist at Musement, an online ticketing company with a global reach, headquartered in Milan.

In early 2022 I joined Boolean as the Head of Data Teaching, where (aside from working on internal data science projects) I created a brand new course in Data Analytics, managing and mentoring 600+ students in data analytics across more than 25 B2B and B2C courses and coordinating a team of over 30 professionals between data analysts, scientists and engineers.

My domains of expertise are Econometrics Modelling, Digital Attribution Machine Learning and Data Visualisation. Big data environments such as Google BigQuery and Amazon Redshift are an essential part of my ETL workflow. My favorite modelling tools are R and Python; graphic libraries such as ggplot2 and seaborn are great for lightweight data visualization, whereas for more complex dashboards I usually rely on Shiny Apps or data visualization software such as Tableau (especially when large volumes of data are involved).
